Our Advanced Dental Technology

CEREC®
Our on-site dental laboratory and milling machine saves you multiple visits by producing same-day porcelain crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays. You can have your teeth repaired in a single visit and get back to your everyday life.
What is Cerec? The Cerec® system involves 3 integrated pieces of equipment; a digital scanner (instead of messy impressions), three-dimensional computer software (which uses information about the patient’s teeth and mouth to create digital 3D images) and a milling unit (which uses the images to fabricate the restoration design precisely).
CEREC® provides the ultimate in digital dentistry technology; same-day dental restorations, improved orthodontic treatment and planning, and integrated digital implantology planning.
3D Digital X-Ray Machine/CBCT Bone Scanner; low dose and High Image Quality 3 in 1 system
We have invested in the latest low radiation Green Smart 3D x-ray technology which gives a 3D picture of your face and jaws. This allows us to plan and perform complex implant/surgical treatments with complete precision often avoiding the need for bone grafting.
Conventional two-dimensional x-rays provide an image that is viewed from only two angles. This means that a problem or irregularity can be hidden by other teeth or the jaw bone. Our system allows a three-dimensional image to be viewed from all angles. This produces a superior quality image with the lowest dose of radiation to you.
Best of all it is all conducted within our clinic, providing you with the convenience of getting it done instantly and not having to go to another location (such as a hospital).
INVISALIGN® Clear, removeable and comfortable braces
Invisalign® System.
The Invisalign System is designed to reveal the smile that you deserve.
Invisalign clear aligners are removable, so you can continue to do all the things you normally do, from brushing and flossing to eating whatever you like. And because they are nearly invisible, people are more likely to notice your changing smile than the aligners themselves.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Consultation
Once we confirmed you’re eligible for treatment, we will take photos, x-rays and digital scans, or a dental impressions of your teeth. These records will be used to create a ClinCheck 3D® treatment plan, just for You. This shows a video of every step how your teeth will move into a beautiful smile…we email this to you so you can follow your own progress….there is even an App!
The Aligners
After being custom-made and shipped to our practice, you will receive a series of aligners to wear every day and change at home-on average every 1-2 weeks.
Custom-made to move your teeth little by little, each tiny shift takes you a step closer to that next version of you – efficiently, gently and accurately.
The Results
You will visit us around every 5-8 weeks to monitor progress and receive new aligners.
After finishing your treatment plan, retainers will be required to maintain your new straight smile.
Straightening your teeth has a positive impact on your overall dental health. The aligners are easily removed, so you can continue to brush and floss your teeth as you normally would to maintain good oral hygiene. And because straighter teeth are less susceptible to tooth decay and gum disease, investing in a straighter smile now may even minimise the need for costly dental work in the future.
Get a confident smile that can change everything!
Carl Zeiss magnification: Dental Microscope
The better you can see, the more accurate you can be. Many dentists now use magnification, but few use the high magnification microscope….we do at Gentle Dentistry. This allows us to see and do what others cannot….conserving natural tooth structure for longer lasting restorations and providing amazing accuracy.
In addition, the integrated camera and video equipment of our modern microscope allows us to involve you to a much greater extent in the treatment process by showing you highly detailed images which explain your care.
