TMJ Syndrome
The letters TMJ stand for Tempero-Mandibular Joint which is the joint between the lower jaw and the skull. Movement in this joint enables you to open and close your mouth and chew from side to side. If your teeth do not fit together properly problems can arise in any of the structures associated with occlusion or `bite'. Symptoms include migraine and chronic headaches, stiff neck, backache, ear
noise, jaw clicking and tooth grinding amongst others. For more information on TMJ Syndrome www.headandneck/book
